Job summary

Lillie Langtry is recruiting a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team at our West Brompton pub in London. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided to help you build the skills you need.

You'll handle daily cleaning, assist with basic food prep, and keep food storage areas clean and organized, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Be organized and have excellent time-keeping skills.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and colleagues at Lillie Langtry.

Responsibilities

• General daily cleaning of surfaces and floors in the kitchen
• Ensuring all cleaning schedules are kept up to date and signed off when complete
• Maintaining the cleanliness of food storage areas
• Washing up of dirty plates, cutlery and kitchen utensils
• Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly
• Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment such as Cookers and Grills
• Supporting the Chef in basic food preparation e.g. peeling and cutting fruit and vegetables
