Daylesford Stays at The Fox in Lower Oddington is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support a busy kitchen team in the Cotswolds. This role is based on site and offers a fast-paced environment with a focus on cleanliness and safety.

We provide 20- or 40-hour contracts, with part-time and full-time options and an earnings rate of £13.75 per hour. If you’re organised, resilient and enjoy team-based work, you’ll fit right in.

Responsibilities

• Collect and wash pots, pans, plates and cutlery
• Ensure items are returned to service quickly
• Wash and disinfect kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly stored
• Organise the storeroom
• Follow cleaning rotas at all times
• Remove and recycle waste from the kitchen
• Comply with store internal audit requirements

About The Role

We are hiring for full-time Kitchen Porter at The Fox in Lower Oddington where you will be able to work alongside the kitchen team in maintaining a clean and safe workplace across the kitchen and all the back-of-house areas. The role will require stamina and you’ll enjoy the fast pace of working in our kitchens. You’ll be very organised and able to coordinate your station seamlessly.

Your Responsibilities

• Collect and wash pots, pans, plates, and cutlery
• Ensure pots, pans, plates, and cutlery are put back into service as quickly as possible
• Wash and disinfect kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls
• Ensure all the kitchen equipment is properly stored
• Organise the storeroom
• Ensure cleaning rotas is followed and adhered to at all times
• Remove and recycle waste from the kitchen
• Comply with the store internal audit requirements
