A leading golf and leisure venue in Telford is seeking a kitchen assistant. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including food prep areas, equipment, utensils, and crockery.
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and ensure all cleaning duties are carried out to a high standard.
  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks when required.
  • Ensure waste is correctly segregated and disposed of following health & safety standards.
  • Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, and storage areas regularly.
  • Ensure the kitchen is well-stocked with clean equipment and report shortages to the Head Chef.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
  • Support the team during events, functions, and peak service times.
  • Carry out deep cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis.
