Overview

New opportunity as a Kitchen Porter based in Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry. This is an ongoing temporary role, initially for 3 months with the possibility of extension. This is a part-time role at 32.5 hours per week. The working hours are on a rota basis and the shift times will be 7.30am – 2.30pm, or 1pm- 8pm. You must be available to work these shifts throughout the week and on weekends. The pay rate is £12.21 per hour Monday to Friday, £17.22 per hour on Saturday and £22.34 per hour on Sunday.

Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas, washing and storing dishes and equipment, and assisting with basic food preparation. They will support the kitchen team by ensuring supplies are clean and available, help with deliveries and waste disposal, and follow all health, safety, and food hygiene procedures.
