Overview

Kitchen Porter – Monday – Friday – London, England

Location: Streatham Hill

Salary: £13.15 per hour + overtime available

Hours: 25 hours per week from 11:00 to 16:15 – Term time only

Responsibilities
  • Assist in washing up & putting away deliveries within the site
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner according to established menus and recipes
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils
  • Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards
Qualifications
  • Ideally have experience working within Education catering
  • Have good Health & Safety knowledge
