Kitchen Porter – Long-Term Supply

Location: Kensington & Chelsea, London

Contract: Long-term supply (term-time only)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10am–2pm

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £14.00–£15.00 per hour (depending on experience)

We’re looking for a dependable Kitchen Porter to support a busy primary school in Kensington & Chelsea on a long-term basis. You’ll be a key part of the lunchtime team, helping make sure everything runs smoothly — from washing up to prepping food and keeping the kitchen sparkling clean.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the catering team with cleaning, washing up, and basic food prep

• Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are safe, tidy, and hygienic

• Assisting with setting up and clearing away before and after lunchtime service

• Following health and safety and food hygiene guidelines

• Working closely with the kitchen staff and school team to create a calm, well-run service

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in a kitchen, café, or catering environment (school experience a bonus!)

• Reliable, hardworking, and happy to muck in wherever needed

• A great team player with good timekeeping and attention to detail

• Someone who enjoys being part of a friendly school community

• An up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one through us)
