Job summary

Leonardo Hotel Cheltenham is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team on a part-time basis. You will help keep the kitchen area spotless, support basic food preparation and ensure high standards of hygiene and safety are maintained for guests and staff.

We value a proactive, friendly team player who communicates well and supports ongoing training opportunities and hotel initiatives, including guest care training and progression pathways within hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Offer exceptional guest care at all times.
• Ensure the kitchen is spotlessly clean and food hygiene is observed at all times.
• Report maintenance issues or broken equipment to the senior chef on duty.
• Wash, dry and store pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glassware and other kitchen items.
• Assist with basic food preparation as required by the senior chef on duty.
• Manage kitchen waste promptly.
• Assist with supply deliveries, check products and store them accordingly.
• Use relevant systems correctly to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Adhere to policies, COSHH, HACCP and Health and Safety regulations.
