Job summary

J D Wetherspoon in Redcar's Plimsoll Line pub is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join the team. You’ll work to set up and close down the potwash area, maintaining hygiene and ensuring smooth operation throughout the shift.

We offer flexible shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends, late finishes) and a competitive pay rate of £12.91 per hour. No prior experience is required; a positive attitude and a willingness to learn will help you succeed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and close down the potwash area and support other kitchen stations.
• Follow dishwashing, grease-management and hygiene procedures.
• Clean, polish and store cutlery.
• Manage waste, recycling and deliveries.
• Rotate stock and keep fridges, freezers and storage areas clean.
