Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Chester Hotel & Spa is seeking a hardworking Kitchen Porter for casual, occasional shifts. You will maintain kitchen cleanliness, assist chefs, and support busy service periods in Chester.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, mopping, and wiping surfaces
• Assist with the preparation of ingredients and support the chefs during food preparation
• Handle and store food in accordance with safety and hygiene regulations
• Maintain the inventory of kitchen supplies and inform the management team when items are low in stock
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared and delivered promptly and according to standards
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Dispose of waste properly and recycle whenever possible
