Signature Group is hiring for Kitchen Porter duties across its venues in Scotland. You will clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, support chefs with basic food preparation, dispose of waste, and maintain tidy workstations while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail to keep kitchen clean and organised, thoroughness in washing up and sanitising equipment.
• Physical stamina for lifting, standing long hours, and fast-paced service.
• Ability to work well in a team with kitchen staff and chefs.
• Strong time management to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils and dishes and store properly.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks as required.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and recycling following policies.
• Keep workstations tidy and inventory fully stocked.
• Follow health and safety standards in all cleaning and handling tasks.
