Job summary

The Ivy Asia is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team in providing cleanliness, organisation and support for efficient kitchen operations. No prior experience required, though kitchen experience is preferred, with the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

您 will help with basic food prep, dishwashing and maintaining hygiene standards, while enjoying benefits such as staff discounts and a minimum 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is required; kitchen experience is preferred.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Good level of Health & Safety knowledge.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans and other kitchenware.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies in designated areas.
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Support kitchen staff by performing basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients.
• Ensure chemicals and cleaning equipment are stocked (blue roll & sanitizer).
