Job summary

SSP Group is hiring a Kitchen Porter at Dickens Inn, St. Katharine's Docks, London. The role runs on a fixed-term contract until the end of December 2026, with a pay rate of £12.85 per hour and potential tips/service charge. Hours are 7am–12am across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.

You will support chefs with basic prep and waste management, keep kitchen areas clean, and help maintain food safety standards. Prior kitchen experience is desirable but training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced environment experience preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen.
• Willingness to learn and follow kitchen hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen areas clean, including dishes, surfaces, and floors.
