Job summary

Mari Deli Dining in Chiswick, West London, is hiring a Kitchen Porter for an immediate, full-time start. You will keep the kitchen and prep areas clean, assist with basic food prep, and support the team to ensure smooth service.

We value reliability, attention to hygiene, and the ability to work well under busy periods. Previous kitchen experience is a plus but not required; settled status is required. Living near the shop is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen porter or cleaning experience is a plus, but not essential.
• Able to stay on your feet and keep pace during busy periods.
• Settled or pre-settled status (required).
• Ideally living near the shop, though this isn't essential.
• A hardworking, reliable team player with good attention to detail and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Wash up crockery, cutlery, pots and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
• Keep the kitchen, prep areas and storage spaces clean, tidy and organised
• Support the chefs with basic food prep and deliveries as needed
• Manage waste disposal and recycling in line with hygiene standards
• Work closely with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly
