Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC and Seaton House are seeking a hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team. You will help maintain a clean, organised kitchen and work closely with chefs to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, cleaning equipment and utensils, assisting with food preparation, handling food safely, and supporting inventory. We offer flexible shifts and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience as a kitchen porter or in a similar role.
• Attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, mopping, and wiping surfaces.
• Assist with the preparation of ingredients and support the chefs during food preparation
• Handle and store food in accordance with safety and hygiene regulations
• Maintain the inventory of kitchen supplies and inform the management team when items are low in stock
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared and delivered promptly and according to standards
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Dispose of waste properly and recycle whenever possible
