Zizzi in Oxford is seeking a Kitchen Porter to help create a clean, efficient workspace that lets our chefs and food shine. You’ll join a buzzing kitchen where accuracy, teamwork and enthusiasm are valued, and every shift is an opportunity to contribute to great Italian dishes.

This role supports the kitchen team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, helping with basic prep, and ensuring equipment is ready for service. Flexible hours and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Wash plates, cutlery and kitchen equipment quickly and safely to keep high-volume services running smoothly.
• Keep the kitchen spotless and maintain hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist the kitchen team with basic food prep and ensure equipment is clean and ready when needed.
• Follow safety guidelines to keep the kitchen organized and a great place to work for everyone.
• Support teammates to keep the restaurant energy high during busy times.
