Job summary

Tingley Blooms is seeking a part-time Kitchen Porter to join our friendly team. You will help keep the kitchen clean and safe, wash pots and surfaces, collect dishes, and assist kitchen staff during busy periods, ensuring a well‑organised, hygienic work area.

Daytime shifts with weekend availability, on-site at Tingley. The role suits someone who works well under pressure, is reliable and a team player, and who can flex to cover extra shifts.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the kitchen environment is kept up to the highest cleaning standards.
• Collecting and washing up pots and pans.
• Cleaning crockery, cutlery and ensuring food preparation sites are clean and tidy.
• Unloading equipment and food from deliveries.
• Ensuring the kitchen area is organised and tidy.
• Making sure work surfaces and floors are always clean and free from food and debris.
• To assist the kitchen staff with various duties.
