Job summary

Moness Resort Aberfeldy is seeking a Kitchen Porter to help maintain cleanliness and safety in our resort kitchens, support the chefs, and assist with setup for weddings and events. You will handle back-of-house tasks with a courteous, professional approach, contributing to a smooth service and guest satisfaction.

You will wash crockery and equipment, keep surfaces sanitised, assist with food preparation, manage storage, and work with front-of-house to ensure dishes and service ware are ready

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume or resort catering environments is preferred.
• Dependable and calm under pressure with strong teamwork.
• Attention to detail and good time management.
• Ability to follow safety, hygiene, and COSHH guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, sanitary back-of-house conditions and follow kitchen cleaning schedules.
• Wash crockery, glassware, utensils, and equipment; keep surfaces clean and sanitised.
• Assist chefs with food preparation, portioning, and labeling.
• Ensure dishes and equipment are available during service and for setup.
• Maintain inventory of crockery, glassware, and cutlery; report breakages.
• Follow COSHH safety procedures and dispose of waste and recycling properly.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and deliver guest-focused service.
