Job summary

Barolo Lounge, part of Loungers, is hiring a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to help keep the kitchen clean and ready for service. You’ll support chefs, maintain high hygiene standards, and assist with food prep as needed.

This role offers up to £12.71 per hour plus tips, paid breaks, staff meals, and 50% off food and drinks from day one. Ideal for someone who enjoys a busy kitchen and a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in kitchen or hospitality helps, attitude and reliability matter.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the kitchen clean, tidy and well organized throughout the day.

About the Kitchen Porter Role

We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our busy, friendly, supportive kitchen team. In this role, you’ll help keep the kitchen clean, safe, organised, and ready for service while also supporting our chefs with food prep when needed. It’s a simple but vital role. Without you, the kitchen doesn’t run properly. You’ll play a huge part in making sure the team can deliver freshly cooked food on spec, on time, every time.

What You’ll Do
