Job summary

Las Iguanas Limited in the United Kingdom is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support our busy urban cantina kitchen. You’ll assist with cleaning, prep support, and keeping ovens, sinks, and worktops sanitised, ensuring a smooth flow for the kitchen brigade.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting kitchen teams and strong attention to hygiene.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and flexible with shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise all meal prep areas, ovens, grills, sinks and stoves.
• Unload deliveries and store items correctly.
• Keep work surfaces, floors, walls clean and sanitised.
• Assist chefs with food preparation tasks such as peeling and washing.
• Maintain clean and organised cold stores and back-of-house areas.

As aKitchen Porter , you will beresponsible for:

• Cleaning and sanitising all areas usedfor meal preparation, along with ovens, grills, sinks and stoves
• Unloading food and equipment deliveries& ensuring they are stored in the right areas.
• Making sure that work surfaces, floors,and walls are clean and sanitised.
• Helping the chefs with food preparationsuch as peeling and washing
• Keeping freezers, fridges, storage andback of house area clean and organised.
