Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking dedicated kitchen porters for a 6-week project at a hotel on Hayling Island. Job description

We are seeking dedicated and hard‑working kitchen porters to join our client's kitchen team at a Hayling Island hotel, as part of a 6‑week kitchen repair project.

SPLIT SHIFTS - 8am-12pm / 6pm-10pm

5 days per week with 2 days off (rota based)

£12.21ph

The ideal candidates will have a background in the restaurant or hospitality industry and have worked in a similar role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wash, rinse, and sanitise all pots, pans, and cooking utensils used in food preparation and service
• Maintain a clean and organised pot wash area throughout the shift
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
• Report any damaged or broken equipment to the kitchen supervisor promptly

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness
