Kitchen Porter — Taunton, TA1 1JT

Contract: Full Time, Permanent • Salary: 12.21 • Hours: 30 per week

One of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. We cater for a number of events throughout the year, ranging from corporate and private meetings to match days. With a variety of Food & Beverage outlets to choose from, it offers attendees a fun day out. We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Taunton.

You will play a key role in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Key skills

• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
• Excellent customer service skills
• Great team player
• Able to help the Chefs with some food prep
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
• Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems
• Operate industrial dishwasher

We are looking for

Knowledge / competencies

• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills
