A prestigious UK university is seeking hard-working individuals for catering roles to develop teamwork skills in a food-oriented environment. Within the Catering Services department, exciting opportunities have arisen for hardworking individuals who wish to develop team working skills and increase their knowledge of working within a food orientated environment.
Duties will include a range of tasks including light maintenance, maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and equipment cleaning, dish/pot washing and ensuring correct procedures are followed regarding receiving deliveries and storage on site.
The Role Holder (RD) must be able to work as part of a team, communicate well with customers and colleagues and have a positive can‑do attitude.
RDs must ensure compliance with all aspects of health and safety and food hygiene standards and adherence to the relevant legislation as well as the Universities codes of practice.
