Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a Kitchen Porter for Loreto College, St Albans, to work 15 hours per week during term time, Monday to Friday, with shifts from 11:30am to 2:30pm. The role keeps the kitchen running smoothly, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for service.

• Washing pots, pans, cutlery, and crockery using an industrial dishwasher or by hand as required.

• Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times.
• Supporting the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and high-quality service to all customers.

About the role

Job Title: Kitchen Porter

School Location: Loreto College, St Albans, AL1 3RQ

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 11.30am-2.30pm (15hours per week)

Working Weeks: 37weeks per year (term time plus inset days)

Pay Details: £7,816.65 per Annum

What will I be doing?

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly, ensuring everything is clean, organised, and ready for service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Washing pots, pans, cutlery, and crockery using an industrial dishwasher or by hand as required
• Checking incoming deliveries, ensuring stock is correct, and storing it safely
• Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times
• Supporting the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and high-quality service to all customers
