Job summary

Peach Pubs is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean and well organised, wash crockery, assist with basic food prep and support chefs during busy periods. No previous experience required—enthusiasm and reliability matter, with training provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service.
• Wash crockery, cutlery, pans and kitchen equipment quickly and carefully.
• Ensure areas are sparkling and tidy for service.
• Support chefs and the wider kitchen team during busy periods.
• Assist with basic food preparation where needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across floors, surfaces and back-of-house areas.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene, presentation and safety.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service
• Washing up crockery, cutlery, pans and kitchen equipment quickly and carefully
• Making sure everything is spit spot, from sparkling dishes to tidy work areas
• Supporting chefs and the wider kitchen team during busy service periods
• Helping with basic food preparation where needed
• Keeping floors, surfaces and back-of-house areas clean and safe
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and safety throughout the kitchen
• Working closely with the team to help every service run smoothly
• Living The Peach values and helping us Make Life Peachy for every guest

We’re looking for people with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and genuine pride in helping the kitchen run smoothly. Experience is helpful, but not essential. What’s most important is your enthusiasm, reliability and willingness to learn.
