Job summary

A leading hospitality services provider in Lytham St Annes is seeking casual staff to help maintain cleanliness and standards in the kitchen. The role offers £10.00 per hour for younger staff and £12.21 for those 21 and over. Ideal candidates will have previous kitchen experience, excellent communication skills, and a flexible attitude. Evening and weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A flexible 'can do' attitude.
  • The ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Clean the kitchen & equipment, utensils, crockery and glass throughout and after service.
  • Correct disposal of rubbish.
  • Use correct chemicals for cleaning purposes following COSHH guidelines.
  • Wear proper PPE throughout shift including a full uniform.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness meets EHO requirements.
  • Report broken/malfunctioning equipment to Supervisor immediately.

Package Description

  • Casual Hours, including evenings & weekends
  • £10.00 Per hour for 18-20 years old, £12.21 for 21+

Main Responsibilities

  • To clean the kitchen & equipment, utensils, crockery and glass throughout and after the service
  • Correct disposal of rubbish
  • Correct chemicals are used for cleaning purposes following COSHH guidelines
  • Correct PPE is worn throughout shift, full uniform blue trousers & Tops, safety shoes must be worn at all times
  • Kitchen cleanse is to the standard of EHO requirements
  • Broken / malfunction equipment to be reported to the Supervisor immediately
