Job summary

Heathrow Academy is seeking a motivated Kitchen Porter to support our busy kitchen team at Heathrow. You will help maintain cleanliness, assist chefs, and ensure all areas are ready for service.

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and flexibility to work early shifts starting around 3:00am, with early finishes common. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or trainee kitchen role desirable.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a busy airport environment.
• Willingness to undertake a criminal record check as part of airport security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen.
• Supporting chefs and the wider kitchen team during service.
• Ensuring kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas are clean and well maintained.
• Contributing to a positive and efficient working environment.
