Job summary

The Nelson Inn, near Harrogate, is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team and help ensure a smooth guest experience behind the scenes.

Basic pay up to £12.71 per hour, plus tronс, paid overtime and great cash tips. We offer free meals on shift, a 30% discount across B&P and our group including wagamama, a Nest pension, Perks on Tap, and weekly pay. A supportive team environment and development opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a kitchen porter, kitchen assistant, or similar role in a busy pub/restaurant is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen team to ensure a smooth culinary experience for guests.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organised during service and in between shifts.
• Assist with basic prep and pot washing as required.

About you...

Previous experience as a kitchen assistant, kitchen porter, pot washer or kitchen cleaner in a busy pub, restaurant or hotel is preferred but not essential. Most importantly you will be keen to work in a friendly kitchen where you’ll really be part of the team.
