As a Kitchen Porter for Sodexo in Clifton College, 32 College Rd, Clifton, Bristol BS8 3JH, you will be a key part of the kitchen team. You'll be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness within the kitchen and food & beverage preparation areas. Your cheerful, can-do attitude will make you a major part of everyone's everyday experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Wash all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and equipment, as well as food service equipment.

  • Ensure the following are kept clean and tidy to a very high standard:

    • Floors & Walls

    • Bins - inside and out

    • Crushing and disposal of cardboard and boxes

    • Fridges & Freezers (with assistance from chefs)

    • Delivery areas

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of working areas.

  • Adhere to all health and safety, fire, hygiene, and COSHH regulations governing your work, ensuring the correct chemicals/detergents are always used.

  • Report all accidents (and near misses) to the Chef.

  • Report any shortages in equipment or chemicals to the Supervisor.
