Job summary

The Nevill Crest & Gun in Eridge Green is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join Brunning and Price Pubs Ltd’s busy kitchen. You’ll help keep the pass and prep areas clean, support chefs during service and ensure dishes flow smoothly.

Basic pay up to £12.71 per hour with overtime and reliable shifts on lunchtimes, some evenings and weekends. In return you’ll enjoy free meals on shift, generous discounts, pension, perks and weekly pay, plus opportunities to learn and grow within a friendly pub group

Qualifications

• Previous experience as kitchen porter or kitchen assistant in a busy pub/restaurant is preferred but not essential.
• Must be available for lunchtime shifts, as well as some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen clean and organized to a high standard.
• Support chefs during service and in food preparation.
• Assist with washing up, pot washing and basic prep tasks.
• Ensure hygiene and safety practices are followed at all times.

About You...

Previous experience as a kitchen assistant, kitchen porter, pot washer or kitchen cleaner in a busy pub, restaurant or hotel is preferred but not essential. Most importantly you will be keen to work in a friendly kitchen where you’ll really be part of the team.
