Job Description
- Dishwashing – Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment either by hand or using industrial dishwashers
- Kitchen Cleanliness – Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, countertops, and food preparation areas. Empty rubbish bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
- Food Preparation – Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients
- Inventory Management – Assist in receiving, storing, and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Compliance with Health and safety – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order
Shift Pattern
- Rotating Shift - 6 days on 2 days off - 8 hours. All shifts are a combination of morning and afternoon starts.
- 04:30 Earliest start time
- 22:30 Latest finishing time
- Live within a commutable distance from the airport is preferred; free car parking is provided for drivers
Requirements
- Must be able to follow shift pattern
- To work at the airport, you must have a checkable 5-year history (employment/education/unemployment) and proof of rights to work in the UK
- If you have spent more than 6 months outside of the UK within the last years, you’ll need to apply for a PCC (police clearance certificate) via the appropriate UK based embassy
