Overview

Kitchen Porter - Thorney Island - FM Service Provider - £12.21 per hour

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service Provider situated on a commercial estate in Thorney Island. CBW are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to be based on a commercial building, the successful candidates will have a proven track record in this field.

Hours/Details

• Monday to Friday
• 06:30am to 14:00pm
• Contract type - ongoing
• Immediate start

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment like cookers, pots and food mixers
• Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly
• Serve food and beverages to customers following prescribed methods of portioning
• Washing dirty dishes like cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans
• Loading dishes into the dishwasher
• Assisting the Chef in basic food preparation

Requirements

• Have a proven track record in Catering / Hospitality
• To work to a timescale as agreed with you and your Supervisor/Manager
• Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety practices
• To act in a professional manner at all times
• Be honest, reliable and hard working
• Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills
• Be eligible to work in the UK
