Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sterilise countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks.
  • Deep clean the kitchen at the end of service to prepare for the next day.
  • Maintain food storage areas, including freezers and refrigerators.
  • Receive and organise deliveries.
  • Wash dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and load/unload the dishwasher.
  • Remove and dispose of kitchen waste correctly.
  • Clean and maintain cooking equipment (cookers, pots, mixers).
  • Assist chefs with basic food prep (peeling, washing, cutting).
  • Support prep cooks and other kitchen staff as required.
