Overview

Something huge is happening at The Blue Stoops. We’re giving our beautiful building a stunning renovation and bold expansion — and we’re looking for enthusiastic Kitchen Porters to join our brand-new kitchen team. This is your chance to be part of the launch team at one of North Derbyshire’s most exciting pubs. You’ll train at our neighbouring site, The Hunloke Arms, before stepping into your new role at the reimagined Blue Stoops.

Whether you’ve worked as a Kitchen Porter before or you’re brand new to hospitality but want to start your career in the kitchen, this could be the perfect opportunity. At Chilled Pubs, we’ll support you with training, guidance, and opportunities to grow.

What The Role Entails

• Keep It Clean - Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly.
• Stay Busy - Take on general cleaning duties including surfaces, floors, bins, and the yard.
• Team Support - Help the chefs with stock rotation, deliveries, and other basic tasks (some heavy lifting required).
• Be Reliable - Work at pace in a busy environment and support your team during peak times.
• Safety First - Maintain high standards of hygiene and organisation at all times.
