Overview

Searcys is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support the Kitchen Team in day-to-day operations at Allen & Overy Shearman LLP. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of all kitchen and back-of-house areas.

Responsibilities

Ensure the effective and efficient supply of food, goods, and equipment to the kitchen and peripheral areas. To comply with food safety and health & safety regulations at all times.

Specific Areas of Responsibility

• Delivery of all food, beverages, goods, and equipment to all outlets in the correct specified way as per the SOP.
• To ensure all operating, food, and health & safety standards are always followed.
• Assist the logistics manager and back-of-house supervisor in ensuring all back-of-house catering functions' smooth and efficient operation.
• Set up and break down events, function rooms, and cooking equipment such as BBQs.
• Moving heavy goods and equipment safely around the business.
• General cleaning and dishwashing tasks in support of the wider business.
• Follows any reasonable request from the management

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.

Job Details

• Monday to Friday, Full Time
• Salary: £30,160 per annum
