Job description

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Service

• Assist with basic food preparation (e.g., washing, peeling, chopping vegetables).
• Help with serving meals to pupils and staff in a friendly and efficient manner.

Cleaning & Hygiene

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.

Stock & Supplies

• Assist with unpacking and storing deliveries.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Catering Manager.

Team Support

• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Catering Manager.
