Job summary

THE PIG-at Bridge Place in Canterbury is hiring a Kitchen Porter. The role involves washing plates, cutlery and utensils for the kitchen and restaurant, and keeping the kitchen clean including appliances. Training will be provided, and a strong work ethic with willingness to learn is essential.

About the role

Location: THE PIG-at Bridge Place, Canterbury, CT4 5BH

Salary: £12.71 per hour (OTE £15.31 per hour, including tronc).

Hours: 20 - 40 hours per week, over 5 days

We are currently seeking for a Kitchen Porter to join our dedicated and passionate team.

As a Kitchen Porter at THE PIG, you will be assisting the kitchen and restaurant with washing plates, cutlery and any other utensils. plus maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen including appliances.

Experience as a Kitchen Porter in a busy kitchen is preferred but this is not essential. We will provide all the necessary training required for the role. All we are looking for is the willingness to learn and a strong work ethic - taking pride in a job well done.
