35 hours per week Monday-Friday

£14.00 per hour

200 Days, Term Time Including Contractual Working Summer School 5 days out of 7.

Job Description

The essential ingredient at the heart of our business is our people so we are searching for an experienced Kitchen Porter with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our business and work at one of our highly prestigious education settings.

As a Kitchen Porter you will…

As well as having an excellent organisational and communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service and possess bags of enthusiasm and a can do attitude.

  • To clean and wash up all kitchen and service items in an efficient manner.
  • To assist in the preparation of food as required.
  • To keep the kitchen and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state at all times.
  • To operate heavy equipment according to manufactures instructions.
  • Supporting school events and special functions as required
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, always following health and safety regulations.
  • Assist the kitchen team in all aspects of food preparation, production, and service.
  • Foster a positive working environment by demonstrating leadership qualities, effective communication, and teamwork.
Qualifications
  • Ideally have experience working within Education catering
  • Have good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused
  • Fun and enthusiastic
  • Have excellent organization skills
