Job summary

Gonville Hotel Cambridge, a four-star establishment, is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join the busy kitchen team in Cambridge. The role involves general cleaning, pot-washing oversight, and maintaining a clean, efficient back-of-house area.

No prior experience required; training will be provided within a passionate team. You will be part of a hotel that welcomes both holidaymakers and business travellers, located centrally with strong focus on guest satisfaction and standards.

We are looking for a hard-working, proactive and passionate Kitchen Porter to join our Truly Talented kitchen team!

What we offer

• £12.71 per hour
• CONTRACT TYPE & HOURS Permanent, full-time contract (40hrs per week) OR Permanent, part-time contract (NUMBER hrs per week) OR Various flexible hours available

Your role

You will be a key member of our kitchen team. You will be responsible for general cleaning duties and oversee the operation of pot-washing machinery, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, and help deliver an excellent guest experience while ensuring back-of-house areas are clean and Health & Safety guidelines are observed.

You’ll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you’ll continually learn and develop.
