Job summary

Balhousie Care Group is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team in preparing nutritious meals for residents. You will help maintain cleanliness and safety in line with EHO regulations, while building rapport with residents in a caring, community-focused setting.

No formal qualifications are required as full training is provided; prior experience in care or hospitality is helpful, and successful applicants must be PVG checked and authorised to work in the UK.

• Assist the Kitchen team to serve meals that are delicious, well-balanced and nutritious for residents.

• Support relationships with residents and help develop your skills in a caring setting.

About You:

As a Kitchen Porter at BCG, you will be dedicated to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and will be eager to assist during the food preparation process. You should approach your work with reliability, consideration, and care. Formal qualifications are not required as training will be provided, although any experience in a commercial or care setting would be beneficial.

Successful candidates are subject to satisfactory references and a PVG check and must be authorised to work in the UK.
