Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Kitchen Porter to support in food preparation and ensure the smooth running of our kitchen. In this role, you will obtain ingredients, clean food preparation equipment, maintain a safe, tidy kitchen environment, follow standard recipes, and ensure food preparation meets the Club's specifications. You will use safe and sanitary food handling practices and maintain cleanliness of your workstation, including washing crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils to the required standards. You will also clean food storage areas, manage waste, and ensure all utensils are properly stored. You will actively contribute to a safe, efficient, and hygienic kitchen environment, assist the chef team where needed, and participate in departmental meetings. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a professional kitchen at a prestigious golf and country club while contributing to high standards of food, hygiene and service.
