Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a friendly Kitchen Porter to support our school catering teams. The role focuses on cleaning, food prep support, and ensuring tidy kitchen and dining areas.

Term-time only, 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00–15:00, with weekend off and 36 weeks paid for 40 per year including holiday pay. £13.45 per hour. Enhanced DBS will be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and washing up.
• Keep kitchen and restaurant areas clean and tidy.
• Provide support for service items and maintain hygiene.

Job Description

We are looking for a Kitchen Porter who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. We are looking for a friendly, hard-working and approachable team member to perform a variety of tasks.

The role:

• £13.45 per hour
• 22.5 hours per week working Monday – Friday
• 10:00 - 15:00
• Term-time only – working 36weeks per year, paid for 40 per year (which includes holiday pay)

Tasks will include assisting with the preparation of food and snacks, ensuring the kitchen and restaurant areas are clean and tidy and to clean and wash up all kitchen and service items in an efficient manner.
