Job summary

The Pig in the Cotswolds, Barnsley, is hiring a Kitchen Porter to join our dedicated team. You will wash plates, cutlery and utensils, and help maintain a clean, efficient kitchen and prep area. No formal experience required, but a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential. Training provided, casual zero-hours contract.

Location: THE PIG-in the Cotswolds, Barnsley, GL7 5EE

Salary: £12.71 per hour (OTE £14.91 per hour including tronc).

Hours: Casual contract, 0 hours

We are currently seeking for a Kitchen Porter to join our dedicated and passionate team.

As a Kitchen Porter at THE PIG, you will be assisting the kitchen and restaurant with washing plates, cutlery and any other utensils. plus maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen including appliances.

Experience as a Kitchen Porter in a busy kitchen is preferred but this is not essential. We will provide all the necessary training required for the role. All we are looking for is the willingness to learn and a strong work ethic - taking pride in a job well done.
