This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will oversee the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared, cooked, and presented to a high standard in a fast‑paced environment. What we need from you:
  • You will need previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant, street food, or fast‑paced hospitality setting
  • Experience in supervising or leading a team within a kitchen environment
  • Strong cooking skills with a good understanding of food preparation and presentation
  • Hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene/Food Safety certificate and have a solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • The ability to work well under pressure during busy service periods
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A proactive, organised approach with a positive, can‑do attitude
  • A genuine passion for food and delivering a great customer experience
  • You must be within commuting distance of Lincoln centre
What the role involves:

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily kitchen operation, ensuring food is prepared and served to a consistently high standard. Duties will include:

  • Maintain records and operate the kitchen online with EHO (Environmental Health Officer) 5‑star standards
  • Leading and supporting the kitchen team during service
  • Preparing and cooking menu items in line with company standards
  • Ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation is maintained at all times
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
  • Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and reducing waste
  • Supporting with staff training and development
  • Monitoring performance and helping to improve overall service delivery
Salary

Salary:£13-£15.00 per hour, increasing after probation period.

Hours

Hours: This is a full‑time role (minimum 40 hours per week). Shifts are worked across 7 days, with start times between 10:00am11:00am and finish times between 11:00pm12:00 midnight. Days and hours will be agreed in line with business needs.
