Job summary

Stonegate Group is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen at George Staples in Sidcup. You will manage daily operations, uphold high food hygiene standards, and develop the kitchen team to deliver excellent pub grub and guest experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, training ability, and up-to-date knowledge of COSHH, food safety, and H&S regulations. You will work collaboratively with front-of-house to drive sales and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen management or leadership roles.
• Solid knowledge of COSHH, food safety and HACCP principles.
• Strong people management and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire, onboard and mentor kitchen staff in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
• Lead, guide and develop the kitchen team with ongoing training opportunities.
• Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards and create a safe workspace.
• Manage kitchen scheduling to ensure efficient staffing and labour targets.
• Conduct regular stock checks to control costs and meet performance goals.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to drive sales and guest experience.
