Kitchen Manager – Location: Beautiful countryside venue

Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum

Are you a passionate and resilient kitchen leader ready to take the reins of a fast-paced back-of-house operation? We’re on the lookout for a Kitchen Manager to join our client’s beautiful venue and lead their kitchen team to deliver high-quality, fresh food with consistency and flair.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver high standards of food quality and service
  • Support the F&B Manager in recruitment, training, and team development
  • Maintain strong control of food margins through effective stock and cost management
  • Ensure all food hygiene and health & safety standards are consistently met
  • Manage kitchen KPIs and ensure budget adherence
  • Maintain high morale and foster a positive team culture
  • Operate effectively in a busy, all-year-round hospitality environment
What we're looking for
  • Previous experience at Sous Chef/Second Chef/Head Chef/Kitchen Manager level in a fast-pace, high pressure environment
  • Passion for cooking fresh, seasonal food
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3 preferred)
  • Excellent understanding of stock control, GP margins, and kitchen cost management
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety & Allergens
  • A team player with resilience and a positive, can-do attitude
  • A UK Driving Licence & Transport is essential for this role due to location
