KITCHEN DESIGNER AND SALESPERSON

We’re a small, family‑run kitchen showroom based in Letchworth Garden City, known for our friendly service and beautifully designed kitchens. Our team works closely with customers to bring their ideas to life — from the first conversation to final installation. About the Role

Kitchen Designer & Salesperson is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role where no two days are the same. You’ll meet customers in the showroom, visit their homes to take measurements, design their dream kitchen, and guide them through the entire process — from concept to completion. We’re looking for someone experienced, motivated, and willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into every part of the job.

Key Responsibilities for Kitchen Designer & Salesperson

• Welcome customers to the showroom and guide them through the kitchen design and sales process
• Visit customers’ homes to take accurate measurements and understand their space and requirements
• Design bespoke kitchens based on each customer’s wants, needs, and budget
• Create detailed kitchen plans using design software such as ArtiCAD (experience essential)
• Present design ideas and quotes clearly and confidently
• Manage projects from start to finish, coordinating with suppliers, fitters, and customers
• Maintain excellent product knowledge and stay up to date with design trends and materials
• Contribute to the smooth, day‑to‑day running of the showroom

About You

• We’re looking for someone who is :
• Experienced as a kitchen designer and salesperson, ideally within a showroom environment
• Proficient in design software, especially ArtiCAD (or similar CAD‑based programs)
• Creative and practical, with a good eye for detail and layout
• Hard‑working and proactive, happy to get involved in all areas of the business
• Confident and personable, with excellent communication and customer service skills
• Organised and reliable, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Team‑focused, with a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed
