Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). The role includes 5 days out of 7, with a 48.2 weeks per year commitment.

You will prepare high-quality food, maintain kitchen cleanliness, operate equipment correctly, and support deliveries. Our team prides itself on its people, brand, and development opportunities across 6,000 venues.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
• Prioritise tasks to meet service deadlines.
• Communicate clearly at all levels within the team.
• Be flexible to work shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
