Runwood Homes is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support Chefs in daily kitchen operations within a care home. You will maintain cleanliness, assist with general kitchen tasks and ensure compliance with COSHH/HACPP guidelines.

You may help cater for events such as the annual summer fayres and participate in training to grow your skills. Established in 1987, Runwood Homes operates 55 homes across England, focusing on personalised care and staff development through extensive training programs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred.

As members of the support services team, our Kitchen Assistants help the Chefs with the daily operations of the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and performing general kitchen tasks to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly in the care home. Our Kitchen Assistants adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as follow all necessary COSHH and HACPP guidelines. Additionally, you will be involved in catering for special events at the home, such as the annual summer fayres.

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant who is passionate about food and dedicated to providing high-quality service at every meal. Strong communication and teamwork skills are a must, as well as experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
