About us

Warrington School Meals Team manage catering operations in over 60 schools across the borough. We are looking for a kitchen assistant to support the operations in one of our partner schools at Thelwall Junior School.

The role

To support, the preparation, simple cooking, serving and clearing away of food, setting up tables and chairs in the dining area and general cleaning duties. The role is for 10 hours per week and term time.

What's needed?

Previous experience of working in a food environment including preparation. The ability to communicate at all levels with both customers and colleagues and to work as part of a team. Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are essential for this role.
