Job Title: Kitchen Assistant/Sandwich Creator 9am-4pm

Location: Charterhouse

Contract Type: Full Time Permanent (may consider term time only for the right candidate)

Salary: £14.50 per hour

We are looking for a motivated and eager Kitchen Assistant/Sandwich Creator to join the kitchen team at Charterhouse. Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation and, specifically we are looking for somebody who is creative when it comes to sandwiches and salad preparation.
• Support kitchen colleagues with daily service and presentation
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and allergen control procedures
• Keep kitchen areas clean and organised
• Learn and develop culinary skills under the guidance of senior chefs
• Support catering for special events and functions

Qualifications

Candidate Profile:

• A keen interest in food and cooking, eager to learn and develop skills
• Good attention to detail and understanding of hygiene practices
• Team player with a positive and flexible attitude
• Previous kitchen experience or relevant training is beneficial but not essential
• Willingness to work in an education or high-profile catering environment is desirable
